In police lingo, we like to say that «every crime has its investigators». But what happens when the actions attributed to certain people go far beyond the scope of the police forces’ jurisdiction? The cops are not responsible for investigating marital infidelity or employees under long term disability who are working illegally. This is where private security firms come in.

Nearly 30 years ago, Jean Dumas started his small business: Intelco. Over the years, minor investigations gave way to much more complex cases: theft of intellectual property, industrial espionage, embezzlement, money laundering. To carry out these missions, Dumas surrounded himself with a team of seasoned investigators from law enforcement, who accept mandates clearly defined by rigorous contracts, always in accordance with the law. The family business has become one of the most important firms in the country.

However, Jean Dumas faces a serious issue: his family. His exwife interferes in his business, his own son, employed at Intelco, threatens to join the main competitor, and his daughter, who disappeared two years ago, reappears with her share of personal problems. Dumas tries by all means to reconcile his personal life with his professional life.

He will quickly understand that he has more enemies than he had imagined. People who seem weak turn out to be the real culprits for his misfortunes. The revenge of the «gruff» will be terrible. Jean Dumas is not to be trifled with. His enemies will bitterly experience it.
