VOTE BOUGON : the Director Jean-François Pouliot starts filming today!
Montreal, May 16th, 2016 - Aetios Distribution and Remstar Films are pleased to announce that filming for the feature film VOTE BOUGON begins today and will continue until June 27! The highly anticipated film, which will be released across Quebec on December 16, is directed by Jean-François Pouliot (La guerre des tuques 3D, La petite séduction) from a screenplay by François Avard, Jean-François Mercier, and Louis Morissette.
The incomparable Bougons are back, 10 years later, as Paul Bougon makes a bold stand against the current system and enters politics! Supported by his distinguished wife and children.
VOTE BOUGON will be an opportunity for fans of the television series, which has shattered numerous ratings records, to reunite with Rémy Girard as Paul Bougon, Louison Danis as his wife Rita, and Hélène Bourgeois-Leclerc and Antoine Bertrand as Dolorès and Junior. Claude Laroche personifies his role as Mononque Bougon, and the young Laurence Barrette becomes Mao.
