A star-studded cast for The Stallion-Snake

Montreal, September 27th, 2016 - Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge, Sophie Prégent, Élise Guilbault, and Daniel Parent star in THE STALLION-SNAKE, a new drama series written by Danielle Trottier that will air on ICI Tou.tv EXTRA.

Catherine St-Laurent, Louise Portal, Marie Tifo, Francisco Randez, Iannicko N'Doua, and Sacha Charles are also part of the stellar cast of this series directed by Sylvain Archambault and produced by Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau of Aetios Productions.

The Stallion-Snake is a male-stripper club with a notorious reputation whose continued success is thanks to the hard work and vigilance of its owner, Dorice McQuaid (Sophie Prégent), and its manager, David Gauthier (Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge).

A legendary and unique venue in the heart of Montreal, the Stallion-Snake has helped give the city its reputation as a privileged haven for parties and pleasures, a reputation that the then-mayor, Bernard Saint-Pierre, never challenged.

Following in his father's footsteps, Laurent Saint-Pierre (Daniel Parent) was recently elected mayor. This family man belongs to another generation. For him, the days when brothels and other sex-oriented establishments proliferated downtown are over. Montreal must be welcoming to visitors of all ages. The Stallion-Snake is destined to experience turbulent times under his leadership.

This clash of values surrounding the club promises to be all the more tense since Bernard Saint-Pierre has been secretly having an affair for years with Odile (Louise Portal), David Gauthier's mother. David is his illegitimate son and therefore Laurent's half-brother, who knows this very well. As our story begins, Bernard is about to succumb to cancer and insists on seeing David.

Dorice is also busy with her family life. She has lived for years with Dominique (Élise Guilbault), a well-known and respected feminist. They have raised a daughter, Simone (Catherine St-Laurent), conceived with the help of David, who has actively played the role of father to her.

As the situation complicates things for the Stallion-Snake, Dorice and David must be extra vigilant to ensure that their dancers, particularly Pete, Mustang, Billy, Angel, and Julien, avoid getting into embarrassing situations that could harm the establishment.

The Stallion-Snake and those who gravitate around it live on the fringes. But who knows where they are? Many tragedies could ensue.
