An incredible cast for STAT, the new daily show on ICI TÉLÉ
Tuesday, May 31, 2022 - Written by Marie-Andrée Labbé, produced by Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau (Aetios Productions) and Guillaume Lespérance (A Média), STAT, the new daily show on ICI TÉLÉ, boasts an absolutely formidable cast. Joining Suzanne Clément are Patrick Labbé, Geneviève Schmidt, Stéphane Rousseau, Lou-Pascal Tremblay, Normand D’Amour, Virginie Ranger-Beauregard, Anglesh Major, Ludivine Reding, Samantha Fins, Jean-Nicolas Verreault, Isabelle Blais, Maxime Allard, and many others.
STAT shares the daily lives of the staff members at Montreal's St. Vincent Hospital. We meet four longtime friends who occupy very different positions: Emmanuelle St-Cyr (Suzanne Clément), the head of the emergency room and emergency physician; Philippe Dupéré (Patrick Labbé), the psychiatrist; Isabelle Granger (Geneviève Schmidt), a general surgeon and intensivist; and Éric Perron (Stéphane Rousseau), an orderly. They rub shoulders both inside and outside the hospital, enjoying dinners and drinks. The group of friends is still healing from the passing of François, Emmanuelle's lover and Philippe's best friend, who died a year earlier under obscure circumstances.
Around this core group gravitates a cast of characters who interact and bring life to the various departments of the hospital, in this world that never sleeps. From DPS (Director of Professional Services) Pascal St-Cyr (Normand D’Amour) to nurses Sophia St-Jean and Audrey Milord (Ludivine Reding and Samantha Fins), to social worker Delphine Martin (Virginie Ranger Beauregard), orthopedic surgeon Marc-Olivier Morin (Anglesh Major), and new ER physician Jacob Faubert (Lou-Pascal Tremblay), who unsettles Emmanuelle and awakens old demons… Everyone is overwhelmed and doing their best to help as many people as possible within ever-tight deadlines. Not to mention all the patients who pass through their care, and whose stories, sometimes sad, sometimes happy, but always moving, will impact each of their lives and change them forever…
STAT will air Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m., starting September 12 on ICI TÉLÉ.
