Suzanne Clément, star of ICI TÉLÉ's new daily series
Tuesday, March 29, 2022 – Actress Suzanne Clément will star in ICI TÉLÉ's new daily drama series, which will be co-produced by Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau of Aetios Productions, and Guillaume Lespérance of A Média. Writer Marie-Andrée Labbé (Trop, Sans rendez-vous) will write this new series, which will take place in the medical field. The title, synopsis, and full cast will be revealed at a later date.
The partnership between Fabienne Larouche, Michel Trudeau (Aetios Productions), and Guillaume Lespérance (A Média) is a promising one for this major challenge. It will combine the expertise of two of the most prolific television production companies at the moment. Let us recall that Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau are behind the success of all of Radio-Canada's daily series in recent years (Virginie, 30 vies, District 31), in addition to the many other great series that we owe them (Les Bougon, c'est aussi ça la vie, Unité 9, Doute raisonnable, Sans rendez-vous, Toute la vie, Ruptures, Cheval-serpent, Trauma). For his part, Guillaume Lespérance is, among other things, the producer of the most-watched show in the history of television to date, Bye bye 2021, with 4,862,000 viewers. In addition to Bye bye (2016 to 2021), he produces the shows Tout le monde en parle, Discussion avec mes parents, Les Mecs, Bonsoir Bonsoir! and Deuxième chance, which are all very successful. As for Marie-Andrée Labbé, a major revelation in recent years as a writer, she has captivated viewers of all ages with her refreshing writing and bold, critically acclaimed proposals.
After spending the last few years in France, Suzanne Clément is making her grand return to Canadian television in the title role of this new daily show, several years after captivating viewers with the character of Shandy, whom she played in the first season of Unité 9 (Unit 9).
Radio-Canada's rich tradition of daily dramas will continue starting in the Fall of 2022 on ICI TÉLÉ.
