Montreal, April 20, 2016 - CNW Telbec/ - Club illico, Quebecor Content, and Aetios Productions are proud to announce that the popular series Blue Moon has been nominated for a Rockie Award in the drama series category at the Banff World Media Festival, which will be held in Alberta from June 12 to 15.

The Banff World Media Festival is an international competition that celebrates the best television and digital works from around the world through the presentation of the Rockie Awards in some twenty categories. Club illico, Quebecor Content, and Aetios Productions are delighted to help showcase the talent of our creators during this competition.

Blue Moon: An Unprecedented Success

Produced by Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau, Blue Moon is critically considered one of the best Quebec television series. The first series of its kind in Quebec to explore the little-known and fascinating world of private paramilitary security agencies, its plot revolves around Justine Laurier (Karine Vanasse), an army bomb specialist and everything related to explosions.

In addition to Karine Vanasse, this original production also stars a remarkable cast including Luc Picard, Patrice Godin, Éric Bruneau, and Caroline Dhavernas. Blue Moon consists of 10 episodes written by Luc Dionne and directed by Yves-Christian Fournier.
