Montreal, May 10, 2017 - AETIOS Productions is proud to announce the nominations for its series 30 Lives, Blue Moon, and Ruptures in four different categories at the 38th Banff World Media Festival. Ruptures (season II) received two nominations in the "Drama Series: Foreign Language" and "Francophone" categories. Blue Moon (season II) received a nomination in the "Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Action" category. The final season of 30 Lives has been nominated for the sixth time in the "Melodrama" category.

This latest international nomination for the series 30 Lives joins the previous International Emmy Awards in 2013, 2014, and 2016. It's also worth noting that Unit 9 won the Grand Prix for French-Language Programs at the Banff World Media Festival in 2013. Blue Moon (season 1) was nominated last year in the "Drama Series" category. "The AETIOS team and I are delighted to see the quality of our series and the talent of our creators recognized abroad. We have the best teams in the world in Quebec!" says writer and producer Fabienne Larouche.

The Banff World Media Festival is one of the largest international media festivals. With over 40 participating countries and a panel of jurors made up of 350 television specialists from around the world, the event presents its Rockies Awards to the television series that have stood out the most, both in terms of creation and development. The final season of 30 Lives stars Julie Perreault and her character "Isabelle Cousineau." In 2015, Émile-Proulx-Cloutier and his character "Samuel Pagé" also earned 30 Lives a BWMF nomination. In 2014, Benoît Brière and his character "Michel Marcotte," as did Karine Vanasse, who plays "Maxim Bouchard," the previous year. In 2012, Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge helped the series reach the nominations, again in the "Melodrama" category. The 2017 Banff World Media Festival will take place from June 11th to 14th, with 30 Lives competing with, among others, the American series Grey's Anatomy.
