Montreal, April 20, 2016 - Aetios Productions and Radio-Canada are proud to announce that the daily drama 30 Lives has been nominated for the prestigious Rockie Awards, which will be presented at the 37th edition of the Banff World Media Festival, taking place from June 12 to 15.

The finalist season in the Melodrama category is the one that starred the remarkable Julie Perreault as Isabelle Cousineau. She returned to teaching to deal with a group of young offenders as part of a pilot project. Airing from January to April, this season was the final of a production that ran for 660 episodes. This is the fifth nomination for 30 Lives at the Banff World Media Festival. "I am very proud of this nomination, which not only highlights our presence on the international scene, but also, and above all, the fantastic work of our artists, whom I warmly thank," said Fabienne Larouche, President of Aetios.

The caliber of the award for which 30 LIVES is nominated can be judged by the fact that there are only six finalists in its category, including the renowned American series Grey's Anatomy.

The Banff World Media Festival is one of the most important international television festivals. With more than 40 participating countries and a panel of 250 experts from around the world, the event presents its Rockies Awards to the television series that have distinguished themselves most, both in terms of creation and development. In 2013, UNITE 9 won the Grand Prize for Francophone Programs.
